Daphne Kinard is a Texas born actress, writer, and producer based in New York City. She graduated from the MFA Acting program at Columbia University, and before that attended the BFA Acting program at Carnegie Mellon University.
She has appeared in In Full Bloom (HERE Arts), Pilled (Adult Film Theater Company), Blood at the Root (Chautauqua Theater Company), and guest starred on Dickinson on Apple TV+.
Her play “Austin” was recently staged by Red Light Theatrical, and her pilot “Big Woods” was a finalist in the Final Draft Big Break.

Daphne co-founded the production company, Red Light Theatrical, with George
Copeland. The company’s first film, Outcall (dir. Matthew Puccini), premiered at
the Sundance Film Festival in 2026.
Outside of film and theater, she works as a professional cosplayer and influencer, with over
50,000 followers across various social media platforms. Her username is

Daphne offers coaching to actors for both college and professional auditions. Her clients
have been accepted into Rutgers, UNCSA, NYU, USC, Minnesota, and CalArts.
